Is there any way to increase the initial number of displayed choices when navigating a pull-down menu in IE?

yeah in forms. i guess i can't think of the proper terminology to use. basically if it's a long list, my broswer only displays 8 choices and i have to scroll forever. i went to the same form on a friend's pc and 20 or so choices were shown.

in IE at least, im fairly sure this is dependent on the screen resolution. could be wrong, but thats the answer im going to stick with for now
