I'm shopping around for health insurance coverage for myself and my employees, and Blue Cross Blue Shield seems to be a really good deal for the price. I'm trying to find other companies to compare. Does anybody have another health insurance company? Did you choose it for any particular reason? Thanks.

Just collect a survey of employee illness and pick the cheapest plan that covers all of that.

I know you asked about other insurance companies, but I do have to say that BCBS really is the way to go. I work for an optometrists office so I see the plans all day long. It's one of, if not the most widely accepted nationwide and generally has the best benefits and covers a lot. UHC is pretty good too.

MedCost is great, Cigna is awful, but I have Blue Cross and I love it

Odds are you won't find anything better for an individual than BCBS. Corporate coverage is the only place you have a shot at beating what they offer by default and you wouldn't be looking elsewhere if your work supplied it.
