I spent 2 days in Bristol, TN for Easter once, not much to do besides look at horses and farms and go to church. Mountains you have to pass through to get there are pretty though.

there is a bar across the street from the residence inn in kingsport with all sorts of rednecks. it's got karaoke and cheap beer. good times during race weekends.but otherwise...i know of nothing interesting in the area.

^ knows what he's talking aboutalso not to be missed: the coronation tap (just go early - otherwise it's like a college frat party, complete with people puking right and left)budokan has LOVELY good, also yiamass on park street is a great place to spend a friday nightand then there's the entirety of the waterfront - especially including the eShed.clifton village is really nice for shopping, and the hippodrome usually has something good on to watch.<3 Bristol

I spent about half of my life in Bristol, VA/TN, and I never did find anything to do up there. They have a pretty badass movie theatre off of the Lee Highway exit. It's buried somewhere in the consumer circus that popped up out of nowhere (5 years ago the only thing over there was cows). Other than that, it's pretty boring. You could always buy a shitload of those scratch off lottery tickets.
