get a Dell Latitude L400 on ebay for $200-300

its small (I can cover mine with a piece of 8.5 x 11 paper) light,and runs XP very well

I have a laptop but it's a hassle to carry around, especially when I do roadtrips on the bike.

My cellphone contract expires in September so maybe I'll just wait 6 months and get a smart phone.
