I just got rid of my Nextel and purchased a samsung a950 with vcast from verizon, is there somewhere I can find some good ring tones for it?

I want to get the ring tone from the tv show 24(the telephone)

and I'd like to put the State fight song on it...

google has given me alot of junk sites

here's the deal...verizon wireless doesn't have push content. if you want to get ringtones, you have two options:

first of all is to use the get it now service you have on your phone. I personally use VZW Tones to get real music ringtones. you download the service and connect, buying the ringtones individually or in package deals

the othe option is to make your own using a program like the one here: http://www.tonethis.com/ you make them and then send a media text message to your phone

it sucks balls overall. I tried to work with the guys during the last 7 months with the internet strategy and programs division at VZW and got nowhere. they want to do it, but are so stuck in corporate bullshit that it takes years to do shit there...one of the many reasons why i quit

now, having said that, you deserved to get talked down to a little bit, because you obviously didn't even look at the verizon wireless web pages to find your answer

well u really have 3 options to get them on ur phone. u can hack ur phone using seem edits to enable the use of a USB cable to ur PC. then easily transfer the ringtones/pics/videos over to it. check out howardforums to find out more about that if ur interested. however, keep in mind u void the warranty when doin that.

as for the ringtones, they are out there on the internet, just keep searching. i dont know of any sites off hand that have the 24 theme. i checked the site i use and there was nothing.

ringtones are lame, just stick with the default, maybe another normal ringing sound if you here yours by too many other people AKA all Nextels with the same ringer.

My Verizon phone had Get It Now, which connects you to the net to download ring tones specifically for your phone.

It's called a data cable or Bluetooth and BitPim.

Look into it.
