You don't have to stop giving a shit about NC State athletics....you just have to take on the mentality that in any big game we are really the underdog and win or lose....fuck you (Carolina, Duke, etc.) I will always be a hell of a lot cooler than you and could probably whip your ass anyday of the week and twice on Sunday.
2/25/2006 11:42:38 PM
i remember the last time we took a gamble with a freshman QB
2/25/2006 11:42:43 PM

^^No, I'm not mad anymore. I've just come to the realization that I can't get so worked up about NCSU athletics. If we win, then great. If we lose, well then fuck you who gives a shit what you think about me or my school. Know what I mean?[Edited on February 25, 2006 at 11:47 PM. Reason : thx Boobs]
2/25/2006 11:47:33 PM
Yeah. Maybe I'll get real swoll over the summer and actually whip some ass when we lose next season I'd have given a toe or two to jack those faggots taunting us after the game today.
2/25/2006 11:50:01 PM
Don't read the back page of TechnicianDon't get any tickets to any of the sporting events (you'd do the rest of us a favor)Don't watch it on tv. Don't pay attention to the sports part of your local news.

Hey, you wanted an answer on how to stop caring about it. If you don't want to care about it, YOU WOULD BE DOING THE REST OF US A FAVOR BY NOT GETTING A TICKET. NOW IF YOU STILL CARED, BY ALL MEANS GET A TICKET. Don't get all huffy because I actually posted a real answer. Because really, if you're serious, then follow the aforementioned tips.Oh yeah, #5Find a new college team to root for. I hear that Jaybee needs some Tennessee bandwagoners.
2/26/2006 12:33:12 AM
I'd follow your advice, but your smartass "you'd be doing the rest of us a favor" is possibly the most ridiculous thing i've had said to me in a while. You're in the same group with those mother fuckers who bitch about our fans not being loud enough, yet I'm louder than 70 percent of the people in there. I mean I just wanted to joke around a little bit, but if you want to be a tool and throw in the personal shots, by all means, be my guest, but i'll still say go fuck yourself. Plus, how the fuck would I be doing the rest of you a favor when the student section has been full for all of ONE GAME THE WHOLE SEASON you douche bag. The tickets are there, go find them faggot.
2/26/2006 12:39:05 AM
Yeah, what a faggot, i'll bend him over and fuck him in the ass w/out any lube. That's right, no KY jelly, just hardcore dry assfucking.that being said,
2/26/2006 12:49:02 AM
I wasn't even trying to make it a personal shot. If you wanted to take it personal, fine. Would you want someone who didn't care about NCSU athletics to have a ticket to the game? Think about it. Thank about all the sorostitutes that run their mouth on the cell phone, or all the people that are there to be social and to be seen. If you were to become one of those people, who didn't care, why wouldn't I say that you'd be doing us a favor if you didn't get a ticket? And as far as the whole finding a ticket thing, I was thinking football when I typed it. It's simply ludicrous that we can only sell out one home game this season. I'll commend those that actually do make it out to watch the game (and actually cheer)[Edited on February 26, 2006 at 12:53 AM. Reason : V ]

Football might have been full for VT and UNC. I was at every other game while most of these other tools said fuck it. Learn to get the joke before you think we would be better off if I gave my ticket to some 2-bit whore with high heels and a tiny cell phone. Sorry...I flipped out, but I've posted on here about a million times in the last 4 days about the time I've spent on wolfpack athletics to see horse shit performances. This thread was a JOKE. although I do need to stop caring so much.
2/26/2006 12:56:48 AM
^you always flip out bwn?
2/26/2006 12:58:47 AM
watching marcus stone was like torturebut i did it anyway and i'm proud of myselfmy goal this year was to attend every home football and basketball gamei missed the VMI basketball game b/c i had to take my brother home for thanksgiving
2/26/2006 1:00:45 AM
well maybe Stone will be better next year... or at least we can hope right?
2/26/2006 1:02:45 AM
^^better man than I gave you credit for during football season. I just have to figure out a way to do that (which I have for the most part except christmas break games) and not feel so bad when we stink up the stadium/arena complex. I like sports too much for my own good
2/26/2006 1:07:27 AM
for the recordi still would have preferred to watch davis throw 5 ints a game than stone take all the credit for the latter part of the season
2/26/2006 1:38:24 AM
OMG STONE SAVED OUR SEASON
2/26/2006 1:46:08 AM
when i'm on tww for the next ncsu football season i'm gonna link people to this thread and say "see its not like we were gonna be good this year anyway"

After we lost to Maryland when we had the lead... I think it was 2000 or 2001... the year b/f we had TA... We had no running offense but we had the lead late in the fourth and just needed to run the clock out...I didn't get out of bed for three days. After we lost I realized that if I am to coach football, I'm going to have to be dispassionate (w/i reason) about it. I can't link a loss by State or the team I'm coaching to drag me down emotianally. If you play X games you willl lose Y of them, no matter how good you are...You can't win them all. I see that in my mentor's and my head coach's eyes when it happens... there's pain. But you have to look at what's best for the team and it's usually something akin to "Alright gentelmen this hurts, we all feel it, but you're only as good as your next game... show up Monday and be ready to work."[Edited on February 26, 2006 at 1:19 PM.
