what's he asking? i don't really need any at the moment, but might be interested if the price is right. i'd use it eventually.

100 per sheet
2/25/2006 10:08:54 PM
damn, not bad. i'll go in on a sheet if you want. i need to get up w/ baryn about that 2x4 also...
2/25/2006 10:09:55 PM
^ nice, i'll send that guy a pm. also, 2x4 is 111 for a 20 ft. stick now. what a damn price drop. but yea, he'll be back on monday, i guess u can send him a pm, or i can just let him know.
2/25/2006 10:12:53 PM
seriously? that's amazing, i payed like 90 for the last stick i bought and that was before the whole china thing. hell, if a 1/4" stick of 2x4 is only that much now, you might want to call dillon and see how much a sheet of 1/4" 4x8 is. 100 might not be such a great deal. steel prices have been flucuating alot though.

k i'll check tomorrow if they're open and let you know.
2/25/2006 10:26:10 PM
cool. try monday, pretty sure they're closed tomorrow.
2/25/2006 10:39:22 PM
matt, i will go in on the sheet of 1/4" also. sure I would have a use for it at somepoint. recommend it for a winch plate? stupid question i know but....oh well. still learning the whole fab stuff.
2/26/2006 1:24:14 AM
yea it'd work fine for a winch plate.

when i called my steel place in greensboro two weeks ago, a 4x8' sheet of 1/4" was either $169 or $196....cant remember
2/26/2006 5:09:42 PM
dillon just quoted me 201 for a 4x8 sheet
2/27/2006 3:38:46 PM
cool, tell the guy we'll take one. we can put it at my shop of you want so it stays dry. or go ahead and cut/seperate it, doesn't matter.
