I don't know how well its out there - Just wanted to make sure people know Cisco Systems is hosting an info session tommorow from 6-8 pm in Daniels 406. It would be a good time to get some face time with the hiring manager - who will likely want to hire some new grads in the coming months for technical positions.

Getting "face time" in an info session with managers for technical positions to work for a supplier of networking equipment & network management sounds suicidially boring to me... but then again I'm in the humanities.

Sorry that I didn't contribute much to this thread... but I didn't know what the company did so I googled. Maybe its the case that anyone who would be interested in this would already know what Cisco does, but maybe not, so I decide to share my info.

a few years ago I could understand not knowing who Cisco was, but these days you gotta be living in a hole.

I mean, for christ sake, we pretty much sponsor all of televised college basketball.

The hiring manager is a guy named Alec who is my former boss. He probably wouldn't mind me spilling all his info out on a message board, but I haven't asked him so I won't for now... I believe we may also have another manager there, but I'm not certain.

^most of the info sessions were scheduled well in advance, so not many are in EB2 this year. we'll see more sessions related to CSC & ECE scheduled in EB2 in the future.
