my second-favorite time of yearhow to start such a massive topic?i guess i'll start with "the steelers may be fucked"
2/20/2006 4:27:44 PM
Where will T.O. go?will the Panthers be overrated again? Will the Patriots make a few roster moves now that their "everyman" idea has been debunked?Wheres Mario, Manny, T. Hall, Tulloch, Morris gonna be next yearWill Brees leave the command to Riversso many questionsTune in next week
2/20/2006 4:32:26 PM
i would like to see manny with the giants although im sure they'll go with a cbT.O. to Denver
2/20/2006 4:34:47 PM
The Steelers will have a decent year. I will wait until the draft and mini-camps to see what they might do next year.
2/20/2006 4:35:14 PM
they are definitely not fuckedtheir most important guy to re-sign is ike taylorthey need to also re-sign:chris hopebrett keiselmaybe re-sign:verron haynesdeshea townsend (for the right price)chukky okobi (if hartings doesn't restructure)let the rest walk (includeing randle el)also need to do:restructure jeff hartings' contract (he is due $4 million next year)cut hartings if he refuses a reasonable restructuredon't re-sign okobi if hartings restructuresthen they ought to draft a chad jackson or sinorice moss in the first round (unless a good RB falls or they can trade up for one), possibly get martin nance in the 3rd round (ben's #1 target from college), and a 3-4 DE.they have a great coach/GM and they have made some great moves over the past few years. i think they'll come out of the offseason strong enough for shot at going back-to-back.
2/20/2006 4:35:21 PM
record-wise, the panthers werent terribly overrated. they made it one game away from where many predicted they'd end up.....super bowl runner ups. an early power ranking i saw for next year (way too early, obviously) has the panthers at 7. i think thats fair. they are really only a second WR and some decent o-line play from being extremely solid.
2/20/2006 4:36:31 PM
i am told they are millions over the cap with 5 starters needing to be re-signedthey're not fuckedbut i knew that comment would freak all you steelers fans out and this shit would blow upi dont see them going back to the super bowl, however
2/20/2006 4:36:59 PM
they need a RB too, foster is too injury prone
2/20/2006 4:37:11 PM
oh and i would also like to commend myself for making an "official" threadWITHOUT all the caps and symbols and other bullshitisnt that nice to look at folks?
2/20/2006 4:38:40 PM
you didn't say it was official
2/20/2006 4:39:33 PM
Palmer is on schedule to start his super bowl winning season in 2006. Chris Henry might not be with the team though.
2/20/2006 4:39:51 PM
how could this not be the official offseason thread?
2/20/2006 4:40:47 PM
could it dosent have the **OFFICIAL** without it, this thread is balderdashwhatever that meansHopefully the bucs can get something going, word is Griese is gon, and out of McFarland, Rice, and Brooks one of them is prolly gonna be cut as well for cap reaosns....more than likely Booger[Edited on February 20, 2006 at 4:45 PM. Reason : though i dont want none of em to go ]
2/20/2006 4:44:46 PM

Antonio Bryant had over 1000 yards receiving last year, but he has definitely not been as good as I thought he would be.The Panthers should sign Brandon Lloyd or David Givens
2/21/2006 9:38:16 PM
if i get inside info that the panfas will sign brandon lloyd, I'll just go ahead and put my entire tax refund on them to win the super bowl now
