upon mouseover of the 'claim to cancel payment' i figured out the deal. had me scared for a few minutes, bc the wifes ebay acct got hacked last week.

My eBay account got hacked before, and it was scary as heck. Check you email account that is associated with your eBay account to be sure that your forwarding email adress field is blank, or how you set (if you did set it to forward email. Also, check any other settings in your eBay,and email account that could be altered to disguise fraudulent activity.

yeah they got my ebay account once just cuz i clicked a link to look at an album and it had a fake login. it was kinda dumb on my part, but they got me. took about 10 mins to get charges reversed though and change my password.

this one was pretty obvious once i took a minute to look at the "confirmed shipping address"

and i opened my paypal account in a separate window and checked my activity log.

but this one was really convincing as far as looking like a real paypal email. subject line and everything.
