they won't replace it if the damage is due to some sort of impact, or gotten wet ;-)

its neither of those and it randomly happens
i went ahead and got them to do a repair exchange
they discontinued the model i have so mes think i'll be getting an upgrade
that was the plan
at the minimum i'll get a new phone of the same model

i'm curious what kind of replacement phone i get while they are working on mine?

something similar, in capacity and capability.

when my V220 died (after 3 months, no less), they sent me a nokia 6230...that was their current promotional camera phone.
^yeah, but you just can't admit to that being the cause...that's where i was headed.

they are sending me a phone should be in a day or two

the guy was like do you want ground delivery in 3-5 b days for 7.95
or express in 1 - 2 days for 7.95
i gave him a moment to say something
he didn't
it sucks that i lose all my pics and what not though
when they can't replace my phone because its discontinued i wonder if they will give me an option of which phone i can get???
prob not

stay the FUCK away from the cingular store in crossroads

go to the one at north hills

i wanted to kill myself after my experience with cr cingular, still might if i get enough support from all you twwers

anyway, cingular has always been good as long as it's not water damaged, it's usually just a direct exchange

[Edited on February 9, 2006 at 10:24 PM. Reason : guess i should post some advice as well]

probably not, at least not for free/$rhodeisland - your display works, and you can still make/receive calls

if you have the soft keypad for that phone, try replacing it.

the 6 button not working is reason enough to be replaced if its still in its 1yr warranty

hell if you complain enough anything is reason enough to replace it as long as you are within your time period

CONVERGE, what he told you was "do you want ground shipping 3-5 business days = FREE or 1-2 day shipping for 7.50"

cingular blows...with alltel, if your phone is less than a year old, they replace under "manufacturer's warranty"...and if you get the insurance for $5/month, your phone can be run over by a truck or smashed with a hammer or whatever and you can get it replaced for an upgraded model, no matter how old the phone is (only catch is that you have to have the insurance for 30 days before you can make a claim)

i've done this multiple times.
