The people in here are real, the place is known, no names are given as none are asked. It was conducted on floors of D.H. Hill through February, and from the payroll of my boredom. Worth millions in that respect I do my studies and class work on the 8th floor of the library, it's a quiet paper labyrinth. I designed my machinations from here. The idea was quite simple in thought. I wanted to observe the result of informing groups of disruptive people by race to be quiet in the library. My method, I'll randomly find people based on the category I need, and ask them to please be quiet in the library. Session 1: Asians.Response: "Sorry"Session 2: IndiansResponse: "Just stared at me"Session 3: AfricansResponse: "What's up"(I restate question)Response 2: "It's black history month"Session 4: AsiansResponse: "Sorry"Session 5: CaucasiansResponse: Said nothing. Session 6: AfricansResponse: Doo? Duut? Duyyy? is not my fault. Note: Group starts singing afterword when I leave area.

I've found that staring at people who are talking entirely too loud for the environment usually works. Also, I feel that they want me to pay attention to them, because otherwise they'd quiet the fuck down.
we go study in the room upstairs that is clearly labeled "GROUP study"and we are kind of obnoxious in our study methods but not super loud, anyway, one day these two bitches kept glaring then one got up and left for a while and came back and told the other one about some other empty rooms really loudly, then they got up and left.good times, we were MUCH louder after that.

Once when I was a sophomore, I was in the BAR studying some statics with my friends and some douches were watching Underworld on the big TV. They actually asked us to "keep it down" and one of my friends started howling at them like a werewolf. I warned them that he could change any second. They weren't pleased.

i can assure you that I've been in the library bor than firmbuttgntl and everyone is loud. When asked to be quiet they shut up. There is no correllation between race and loudness.
