An old friend said he heard there may be a beat battle at NC State on February 24 and is interested being in it.

Has anyone else heard about this? If so, do you have any other information about it?

a beat battle is where one producer goes up against another producer...playing a beat they made for 45 seconds or so. it's a showcase of talent and a way for emcees to hear what you have. and hopefully you can sell a beat or two.
