it's 200+ mb of mp3sit can't be staggered like a podcast - they all have to get out at the same timeany ideas that won't kill my server's bandwidth?

first thing, re-encode the mp3's.They shouldnt be any higher than like 32kbps, mono. That should reduce the file-size dramatically. Or re-encode them to wma in a voice preset, that will be even smaller.

do ipods support wma yet?

no and they never will. hence why i suggested the mp3 re-encode first

I completely agree with smoothcrim on this one....bittorrent is, in my opinion, THE best way to distribute anything without being forced to use your own bandwidth for every transfer. And if you reduce their size, you can distro a bijillion files in no time.

cept they were only 30 MB when i re-encoded them from the original source hahathat's not a big load towards the bandwidth limit./thread
