and noticed the changes in the menu?they put sun-dried tomatoes in the caesar salad dressing they've changed their sunflower wheat bread (now it's pretty much white with seeds on the outside and some wheatberries in the loaf)i understand wanting to change your menu, but changing (from what i could tell) every single item in the space of a month and a half just doesn't seem like the best idea. i'm so disappointed in them...they were really good.

OMG... did they change the Jimmy V sandwich, too? I haven't been there in a while, but if what you say is true... that is very disappointing.

I was there several weeks ago with punchmonk. As long as they don't change the chocolate croissants we'll be OK.

^^Since CV is doing well now(especially after their facelift), maybe you're right... but the past few places that were in that location before Carolina Cafe definitely never made it, so I don't think they're owned by CV old money... I think that legacy pretty much died out with Balentines and the old school department store (good times... good times) But I digress... I just think that Carolina Cafe is well suited for the type of people that shop in CV now (similar to those who frequent the new North Hills... damn, everything is changing) my post has now lost direction... i'm done. now back to writing a paper on existentialism... and subjective truth.
