on an overseas flight. 'Bout how long do you think it would take for it to be recovered? Reasoning alone would think it would take a week for people to get off their ass and find it, and then some more transit time. Just curious if anyone might know.

my lugagge was misplaced twice (two different flights) and found in the next day or two.i'm just glad it happened when i came back and didn't need the clothes.

It'll probably show up in 2 to 4 days.Last time it happened to my girlfriend we called and said she didn't have any clothes, which was true, so they said buy her some (never tell a woman that). ~$250 later she had clothes. They reimbursed ~$200, so it was a good deal.The bags showed up after 3 days.

I've had luggage misplaced on overseas trips a few times going and once coming home. Return ranged anywhere from the next day to five days later. Make sure that you pester the airline, a lot of times they will reimburse you for the hassle.
