If you live close to Clayton or Garner, you can come by my store and I can seeif I can help you out. I have the proper screwdrivers and tools to do so. Since the warranty is already voided, you might be up the creek without a paddle if you are trying to do a warranty claim. Once the screws are turned, you are.....well......screwed.

I have the screwdriver you need at my house. What phone model is it and by faceplate do you mean housing? You are welcome to come over and use the tools i got to try to put it back together. I have most of what you need to do a housing change.

I changed the case on an i730 one time and it worked fine (NCsweeTea has it now and i think still uses it), but yeah once you start doing that shit your warranty is gone. Its best to do case mods with extra phones so you dont fuck up your good one.

What is wrong with the phone that needs warrantying?

I put the original case back on it...after I posted this. I did a little study on google, then found the screw drivers I never knew I had. Took 3 hours, but o well.

I bought the phone off a friend, with the housing already on there...I specifically asked the nextel rep can I have insurance on it...they said YES! Well The housing is all original now, so I hope...the folks can work on them now.

The phone won't come back on, I got it to come on like once..I dropped it, and now it won't come back on past the i860 screen.

Thanks folks.

What store you referring to blusdrmr?

Do you have the insurance or the repair plan? If you have insurance you should just be able to claim it lost and they will ship u a new one for $35. If its just the repair plan you may be SOL but its worth trying as long as you have it back looking stock.

I took it to a repair shop. They told me to call The Signal. Now the signal wants an original reciept of when it was sold.
