So my friend has been in love with this guy for 2 months or so, and of course they were dating and both told each other how they were the best thing that ever happened to each other. It's a long distance relationship, and my friend drove a few hours to see this guy two fridays ago. Her bf told her since he'll be at work till 5, and she can't really sit with him at work, to meet up her friends who live in the area. Well, he came back from work pissed at her that she actually went out with them during the afternoon. Next day saturday morning right when she woke up, he told her to pack and never want to see her again. What the hell?! He was just telling her the night before that she was the best thing that has ever happened to him, and how he wants her kids, etc. I know this is the type she doesn't need to be with, and that it's a good thing that it happened now, but she's just so confused.

Now, I know this has happened to other people before. Do you think this guy just a problem with multi-personalities or is sychizophrenic? I dont know how people can rationally cut off their best friend just like that all of a sudden. Or is this just a common thing to do?

i wouldnt put too much stock in a 2 month long, long-distance relationship. ppl talk a lot when they first start dating.

schizophrenic? hah, yeah right, but some ppl just arent great at relationships or expressing themselves. either he wasnt as into it as he said or he just gets pissed/jealous quick and put his emotional foot down.

Seems like there may be more to it. We may not really know why her boyfriend did it.

"I want your kids" = "I like sex"

Sounds like he just enjoyed the lay, but when he realized he needed to do other stuff with her too he was looking for a reason to dump her.

I'd be glad to find out that he was an asshole early on, saves later heartache.

maybe it was building up for a while, but the distance made communication hard so things continued on like normal until there was proximity and a trigger.

Maybe he had some girl he was keeping his eye on for a while and just looking for an excuse to break up so he could try her out.

who the fuck dates long distance anyway? that shit hardly ever works out.

it kinda sucks that he turned out to be so neurotic, but good it happened so soon. who the hell tells someone that they want their children after 2 months as well?

she needs to score a much better guy around these parts.

Had been seeing him for that long, or had been seeing him for longer and in love for the past two months? Because 2 months isn't exactly a very long time.

In my experience it's never been a mental issue. Just the fact that the guy is a dick. Relationships suck (well, I have to qualify that statement with "for the most part"), get over it, move on.

Yeah...Definately more to the story.

Here is some ridonkulous speculation for you to oogle over:
- She tried to fuck one of his friends.
- One of his friends went to high school with her and told him she was a complete slut.
- She talks in her sleep and admitted to something that she shouldn't have.

of course. If one is blindsided by being dumped then there are just a bunch of signs that were missed.

Thanks y'all for the advice. I really don't know what else has been going on with them that caused all this.

He just got in touch with her and said he found someone else who will love him for him, and not "change him," and that she shouldn't get in touch with him again. She is really confused because she's the one that changed for him (settling down, not going out). It's odd, since she tells me everything as if it was perfect, and she denies anything weird going on.

I told her in the first place not to go out with him, since i got a weird vibe from him. Oh well, thanks for the comments!

Nothing a bottle of Rum and a good drunk dial can't solve.

I once got hammered and went to my ex's room and screamed at him that everyone thinks he's gay. It was probably one of the best things I've ever done at the end of a relationship.

The guys probably just needed a reason to get out of the relationship so he was looking for anything that he could make a big deal about. He probably had someone else in the line-ups and need to ditch her fast.

lol, well if she was trying to change him and he says hes found someone that wont do that... what so confusing?

obviously he met someone else, wanted a reason to pick a fight with her and break up, and thats what he did - end of story
