Behind your t-dub name? ...unless it's painfully obvious.

"Beardawg" is my nickname, and 61 was my football number.

from my thread up there:

Quote :
"per request, this is the story

I initially signed up for TWW b/c i needed to ask people if they could tell me what I missed in a class. When signing up, I couldnt think of a good user name. I thought about it for 15 min or so when I hear my roommate in the other room talking about the Janet Jackson boob scandal that had happened 2 weeks b4. He said something like "boobs are great, ya see what they did to this country". So finding this funny and not knowing that I couldnt change my user name, I typed in BoobsR_gr8, using the number and underscore to show that i was down with the leet people . So the account was created, I found out that I'm stuck with this name, and consequently any n00b that registers on here thinks I'm a huge perv. Thanks a lot Janet Jackson

I love Full Metal Jacket.

and, I have always thought it'd be a kickass job to be a war journalist...aside from the high risk of death.

I'd be a soldier, but not a civilian journalist (yes, I know he wasn't a civilian.)

That movie does rawk.

"Do you ever kill any women or children"
"Sometimes"
"How can you do that?
"Easy, you just don't lead'em as far."

I like the "well-disciplined quote too, but I'm too lazy to type it.

R. Lee Ermey Fucking RAWKS too.!!!!
I guess that movie made him.

^I call bullshit. You were fucking and the dude started to call out some other chick's name but he bent it towards yours and it stuck as his "pet" name for you. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this.

j/k that's actually pretty in my opinion.

btw, Full Metal Jacket = one of the top films ever.

favorite quote: the Rifle Prayer

"This is my rifle. There are many like it but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my rifle is useless. Without my rifle I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy, who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my rifle and myself are defenders of my country, we are the masters of my enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen."

I don't have the site, i just got it from a quick google last name, but I'm sure if you googled your name with the words baby name you'd get a site.

Beardawg61:

I just did a google search for "baby name Brandon supplanter" and on that page I got these results

"Brandon - (Ger.) flaming hill"

"Jacob - (Heb.) Var: Jake; supplanter"

"Jake - (Heb.) Var: Jacob; supplanter"

Its a biblical reference to Jacob... and though I'm not well versed in the bible I don't remember any biblical ties between the name Brandon and Supplanting.

Hmm, I didn't notice the missing "a" 'til you mentioned it. Ever seen those stories about how you really recognize the words... not the letters? ie. speed-reading.

I used to play Jedi Knight and JK:MOTS online forever ago. I used the name KyleKatern as an intentional misspelling of Kyle Katarn, the main character in those games. That has been almost 8 years ago.
