^ possibly this spring timeand I offered her to drive my car, but she likes it. She works in quantico so it's not far from home. I slug now so I don't drive mine much.

how can you not believe it. econo cars get better gas mileage than hybrids.old beat up 1987 civics get better gas mileage.they're crazy cheap too.

I've never seen anybody figure it up, but considering the extra expense of hybrids, a lot of them may not save enough in fuel to break even.

we figured it up in env. ethics one time for a project... i dont remember the number, but our conclusion was basically that you were trying to help the env by buying a hybrid, not save money[Edited on January 28, 2006 at 10:35 AM. Reason : it was many many years]

dear people i understand the concept of a hybrid but... any time you convert energy from one form to another you loose efficiency so the only time you get a more efficient car from a hybrid is when you drive it just right to take advantage of the redistribution of power or lack their of.
