This is a thread to discuss the cartoon series that aired on liquid television in the early nineties, and not that crappy movie that came out last year (well, if you want to that's fine).Anyhow, I own the complete series on DVD and have been a big fan of the show since it aired on MTV over a decade ago. If anyone has any questions about the show, I know it was weird as hell, feel free to ask. I consider myself an expert of sorts on the actual "backstory" which I know was the hardest thing to get down.

The show was great. The movie wasn't spectacular, but in all honesty it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. I did get a free poster of it.

you know what I never realized? the guy who made it also made rugrats. Part of the reason he made it was he was tired of doing kids stuffexplains why rugrats had so much weirdness in it, then all of a sudden, turned really goofy and childish. before, it had adult themed jokes, too[Edited on January 27, 2006 at 12:27 PM. ^Yeah people also theorized that he built up all this "angst" from working on a kids show, which probably explains all the nipple licking, thongs, and bondage that is thrust at you in Æon Flux.

The Maxx was the shit. A couple of my friends still have the complete set of the comics.Aeon Flux was what first turned me onto animation, and probably led to later interests in anime and sci-fi. before then, i was a Marvel whore. It broadened my horizons.
