^^I, personally, would rather hang out with the snausages, at least they won't stab me in the back and eat my innards.

I have the same problem.

I am planning my wedding and I have absolutely no girlfriends to ask to be attendants. . .I want my 'maid' of honor to be my best guy friend.

I don't know if I want any female friends because girls are psycho.

You chicks should form a clique, all of you seem to be lackadaisically moping for an activity.

There is another solution, I could break out the vacuum, and dishrags, my pants have a hole from where my zipper rusted away, too.

I'd hang out but I'm not much of a partier. If you ever want to just go to the mall, movies, find a hobby to do together, etc, just let me know. I'm a little short on steady girl friends as well. Might partly be b/c of my disinterest in talking on the phone...

Hey
I have the same problem as well, mostly guy friends and a few girl friends whom I see on campus and say "hi"
"bye" and never go out with them to the mall or movies. It's just much easier to communicate with guys sometimes and girls tend to be jealous of eachother which mostly ruins the fun of anything.

I never understood that. It's really lame. Maybe that's b/c I've never felt the need to beat another girl out to get a guy or whatever dumb competition.

for real - girls are dirty to other girls. if most ofyour friends are girls, as was the case with me in hs and college, you get to see how fucking evil they are

stick with dudes. they may try to fuck ya, but they won't screw ya, know what i mean?

i wouldn't sweat not having many female friends unless you're just aching for some girl bonding or something. i've kept my girl friends to a minimum and i must say my life has been pretty drama free since i've done that. i have two that i could count on through thick and thin...two cool ass chicks who basically feel the same way i do about girls...less is more.

hmmm, and i thought i was the only one w/ this problem. the only female bonding i really get is at work, (i work in a chocolate store, so it's mainly girls.) but i really don't know how many of them i can call real friends. there is never hanging out outside of work. i think i've just been stabbed in the back one too many times by girls, but maybe i should try to make female friends again....

this is a very common problem. girls are catty as hell. my wife is cute and blonde with big boobs. no other chick will come within 10 feet of her unless they already know her. i get on her about having more chick friends, but not much she can do about it.

Ive received a few replies so im gonna try to get anyone interested to all get together and meet for dinner and drinks somewhere. This will just be a way for girls with limited girl friends to get out and chat and have some fun...you dont have to find you female soulmate or anything. PM me if your interested.

And Im not fat....and anyway...

I asked my sister to be my maid of honor and the more I think of it the happier I am with that choice.

I really don't even talk to my one female "friend" anymore.

The thought of 'girl bonding' makes my skin crawl, but if any of you other female-hating ladies (or males who aren't interested in fucking me) out there play piano, I've been thinking of asking around for a duet partner (no, I don't have any duet music in mind.) Intermediate-Advanced.

I'd also be interested in taking some sort of dance class at the gym or something--it doesn't work unless I have someone to badger me about it.

[Edited on January 27, 2006 at 2:34 PM. Reason : PS I'm not the club/party/drinking type, though I don't mind a drink now and then. I'm also <21.]

you'd be better off with gay guys (femme of course) as friends. they won't try to have sex with you, they are great shopping buddies, they are great to go clubbing with (won't grope ya when you dance), no competition for dates, can cry and giggle together, etc. they do have some girly drama associated but not nearly as catty.

i have 3 total friends that are female. that's it. the rest are guys.

^^ Oh hun, don't give up on female friends yet I agree women can be catty and psycho and full of drama, but once you find a core group of female friends that will be there for you always no matter what, it's the best thing ever. It's a special kind of bond that I never have even come close to establish with a male friend.

^^I've had nothing but negative experience with gay men. They're just as catty as women plus being overly histrionic and bitchy.

I have one best friend and it took me 21 years to find her. I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate girl drama and I do try to avoid it though sometimes it is unavoidable. What I'm trying to say is that there are good girl friends out there.

I consider myself the type who will give every girl a chance but if after that chance I feel like you are that type of girl that I can't stand (bossy, bitchy, excessively girly, needy, psycho, boy crazy, or any of the above combination) then I feel as if I have no obligation to you or your feelings. That may be counterintuitive, but that's how I am.
