Did a search, nothing came up, and have never seen this on here before

http://sysnews.ncsu.edu/

can increase your account quotas (meaning your K: drive space, your webmail space, or your Novell space)

Apparently all accounts start with 150 MB out of 300 MB being used...and you can allocate the other 150 as you see fit. I had no idea I had 150 MB sitting around for free that I wasn't using.

^well, they never publicly announced that quota increase, so it's understandable.

i only knew about it because i have friends who work at the help desk who informed me when they finally gave people that extra space

Well, I didn't know about this...

But now that I do...

I don't have to wipe out all those old e-mails now.

If you're on a Windows machine, look at IMAPsize. Nice program that allows you to pull the attachments off e-mails.

Ran across this looking for a program to backup IMAP locally (for those over quota). Have already used it on my own account once.
