if it's not a question, don't add question marks.

I went there once (north hills) and thought it was terrible.

It's set up eerily like a Moe's.

The service was okay and the food was horrendous. For instance, the coconut curry soup (well, coconut something at least) tasted like salty, thinned cheez whiz with spices added in.

Price is not very expensive, but it would have tasted like crap even if it was free.

I haven't been back for that reason. It may have just been a bad night, but I have no particular desire to give it another chance.

That would be because they're both franchised out by the same parent company.

the one in wilmington has the worst service ever...i have never seen people that are so incompetent working in a restaurant setting and i go out to eat all the time

that said i probably will never go back, even though my meal was only 7 dollars and i could have eaten it for like 3 days there was so much food. it was so-so in taste, and service IMO is a pretty big deciding factor in a place i want to eat

It was so bad at Harrison/Weston in Cary that it shut down in under a year. I fucking hated that place.

I went to the Mama Fu's in North Hills. The food was mediocre and not cheap. In that price range, I'd rather go to Peking Garden or Cody's or Neo China or PF Chang.

P.S. Mama Fu's Asian House would be a great name for a "massage" establishment.

mf's is below average nationwide and average as far as local. the prices are higher than the quality of the food imo.

I tried their noodle bowl once at this place down in Texas where my family lives. It was $10 for what I got, and honestly, it was a total ripoff. There was almost no flavor to the food, and the chicken seemed like it wasnt real chicken, but like chicken with corn starch filler or something. It tasted very spongy and had no real chicken texture. I told myself I would go back, unless this ones cheaper here. But I doubt it.

Food quality level of a Moe's or Qdoba. Its alright. Better than your basic chinese restaurant but nothing special. The ginger broccoli with chicken is what I usually get. It works for the occasional place thrown into a lunch lineup simply for change of pace.

Apparently the whole chain was bought out and most of the locations were shut down so that they could redo them - because they sucked.
