So here is the obstacle....What do you do or what do you say to people who have bad breath.
Should you just avoid them or should you just tell them. And if so, what do you say not to offend them.
I sure can't see myself telling a person they have bad breath.

I dont' say anything to them. Just ignore them. They will figure out something is wrong after while. If not, oh well.

if we're close and i know they would appreciate the heads up, i'll say something.

otherwise, i just avoid proximate distance

Depends on how bad and how often.

if it's a once or occasional problem, i'd probably just be quiet about it.

If it's constant and noticable, i'd say something.

Not really since you can't smell your own breath, or even your own stink for that matter--at least I can't.

Well I can. When my breath is bad, I can taste it.

I'd tell them cause I'd want to know if my breath smelled and therefore this would give them a reason to "get me back" by telling me when I had bad breath.

if i had some gum i would take it out and get a piece for myself and then ask them if they wanted one....maybe they will get the subtle hint...

also, if someone you know ALWAYS has rank breath, you might want to let them know... It could be because of an absessed tooth or some other kind of dental problem they need to find out about.

well, if it were me, I'd want somebody to just tell me. Even though it'd make any future meetings weird, I'd still appreciate the heads up.

I assume people don't sit by me because I'm not sociable.

Flossing will do more to prevent bad breath than mouthwash will, just a heads up. Actualy mouthwash can be worse because it drys out your mouth and reduces saliva which naturally fights bad breath. Drinking lots of water and flossing are two things people should do that most don't.

tell them. if it's a persistent problem, they probably don't know. or at least don't know the extent of the problem.

brushing my tongue makes my day/morning...i dunno way but giving my tongue a good scrubbing and gagging just a little bit feels good...it's weird. hahaha afterwards i feel like "aaahhhhh..my teeth are clean, my tongue is clean...and that gag made my eyes water just a little bit so i feel more awake"
