Undergraduate Students:

You are invited to attend a workshop entitled: "How to Write a More Effective Statement of Purpose for Your Graduate School Application."

Co-sponsored by the NC State Graduate School and the Division of Undergraduate Academic Programs, the workshop will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2006, from 3:00-5:00 in the Talley Student Center Walnut Room. Dr. Margaret King, Coordinator of Graduate Program Review and Retired Senior Associate Dean of the Graduate School, will conduct the workshop. Dr. King will review the fine points of writing a statement of purpose for a graduate school application and give both good and bad examples of each.

If you are planning to apply to graduate school in the near future, this workshop should be very helpful! Registration is required. You may register on-line at:

http://www.fis.ncsu.edu/grad_fellows/AGEP/registrationform5.htm

NOTE: THIS WORKSHOP IS LIMITED TO 50 PARTICIPANTS

I hope to see you there!
Alison

It's a little late for most people. A lot of schools deadlines are Jan 1st. This would be good to go to if you are a Junior.
