so whats the word these days on 360s? Are they starting to be more available? Anyone know of good times to check/places that have them in stock?

it seems like all the talk is dying down as far as people staking out the stores, but damnit I want one for my birthday too! (2/17 if anyone wants to get me gifts).

yeah my bday is 1/29 so my deadline is less heh. best bet is just to check during the week when not as many ppl are out. those housewives can only stalk out for so long and only a few are gonna care enough to do it constantly.

They seem to be much more readily available now. I've walked into numerous stores in the last 2 weeks and seen them in stock, not sure if this is representative of the general population or not however, I may just be really lucky?

I saw some at the Toys-R-Us in durham, off 15-501 I think, about three weeks ago.. they had 3 core and 2 premiums then..
might be a place to check, as most people wouldnt immediatly think Toys-R-Us to get a 360

i know about that, but no one ever has the system unbundled and in stock online. the bundles become available every now and then, but they usually include a bunch of games i dont want.

Best Buys in Pineville and in Matthews off Independence had some as of 2:30pm... I know it probably isn't where most of the readers here are but I just picked up one out there... talk about impulse buying when you run into someone delivering them

Nothhing on the PC has my interest enough to make me upgrade what I already have (if I can play BF2 I have enough for my PC)... and I just got a nice TV and with my old Xbox now dead... the whole scenario just pointed me to getting a 360... will be nice to see it in high def on the new tube.

Anyway.. for whatever reason.. I was told the 2 Best Buys I previously mentioned have been getting 4-6 every other day this week. Not sure if that trend extends to BBs in that area but its worth a shot - the shipments here have been right around 1pm every day and they do not keep them on the shelf due to enough people just walking in or calling to ask if they have them.
