max ~20 minutes to gett there, and ~20 to get back.

so youve got 20 minutes and probably another good 5 or so to eat your donuts.

laZy ass niggers need not apply

i'm pretty sure i could do that

run, say, a 7 minute pace on the way out there and get there in 14 minutes...figure on about a 9 minute pace on the way back (for an additional 18 minutes). that gives you 32 minutes to eat 12 donuts.

I can't imagine that would be a problem.

you forget that probably 75% + of the students cant run a 7 minute mile. conservative estimate.

^^right, but i can, and i'm out of shape right now. i was just speaking for myself.

hell, even if you ran a 9 minute pace out and a 12 minute pace back (which is a glorified walk), you'd still have 18 minutes to stuff down a dozen doughnuts, which i think would be doable.

and i can't imagine that anyone less than 300 lbs with two functional legs couldn't run 2 nine minute miles, then a 12 minute pace back.

^yeah, but if you can run worth a damn at all, you will have enough time to run so slowly on the return leg that it won't matter.

i mean, i'm speaking theoretically here...i've never done the Krispy Kreme Challenge, but it can't be that damned hard.

$10 includes the donuts...

are these the shitty fund raisor donuts with preservatives or hot fresh wonderful krispy kreme donuts straight off the preservative free line and out of hot animal lard?????

there is a very very large difference IMHO...

id love to see a real fatty run 4 9-minute miles. have you never taken a gym class in college? ppl are out of shape as fuck.

hell im skinny and i realistically dont think i could do 4 9 mins all basically right after another

in my gym class i did 3 miles for the final and got around 27 minutes. i was definately in the top 50% id say if not higher.

[Edited on January 16, 2006 at 9:58 PM. Reason : im slow and blame a low lung capacity on my shitty running ability]

man, a 9 minute mile is slow as shit...it's like a cripple's pace for a light jog (and i'm no real running machine...i'm like 5'8" and 185-190 lbs.)

and you'd only have to run two of them. then you could rest while eating donuts, and run a snail's pace 12 minute mile back. you might could even briskly walk a 12 minute mile. if not, it would BARELY be a pace that could constitute running at all.

[Edited on January 16, 2006 at 10:01 PM. Reason : maybe i'm putting too much faith in the general population]

Even after all the weight I've lost, I can't do a very fast mile at all. Fucking knees are trashed.

i did mine in around 24 and was one of the last ones done... you must have been in a much worse shape class than me or something

haha

i can tell that my joints aren't what they used to be either. almost all of them pop and crack all the time, although they don't usually hurt (shoulders and left knee do sometimes)

oh well...i'm amazed that i never managed to get myself killed from ages 16-24 or so, so i guess that's not too much to bitch about.

^^ maybe im remembering incorrectly, but thats what i thought i got. i did better than many if not most of the girls i know that much.

i never did proclaim to be in good shape though. that was after a semester of running each day in class, so i wasnt in that bad of shape either.

when you have as many fat ppl as we do in the states i think itd be silly to think that 4 miles within an hour is easy game.

144 grams of fat, 264 grams of carbs, 2,376 calories, and a 120 grams of sugar.

Goodness gracious. I'd be afraid to consume that.

I agree, the hardest part for me would be eating 12 doughnuts in one sitting. The fatties would definitly have the advantage there.

personally, i dont exercise much but i think i could probably flesh out the 2 on the way and briskly walk back. the doughnuts, i dunno. maybe if it was 6, but im not big guy. add to that the water to rehydrate a lil and its vomit time.
