I'm not buying a fax machine, but recently, I've come across the need to use a fax machine rather often. Instead of running to the Kinkos to do my buisness, I was looking into these fax to email services. Does anyone have any experience with this? Which service would you recommend?

All you need is a modem and a scanner to turn a windows XP box into a fax machine. no third party software is needed.http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/learnmore/crawford_02october21.mspx

I don't have a phone line. All I have is my cell phone.

It might be cheaper/easier to just pay for phone service. If it's really sensitive shit, I'd be cautious about sending it through a third party server.

luckily my apt complex lets you use the fax free during office hours. doesnt help much off hours or if you get a lot of incomming but it is nice. i agree just paying for a phone line will probably be cheaper if you plan on doing a lot of faxing though.
