Wake could've won that had they played just a TAD better earlier...still, Wake & Maryland will give us trouble

no they wont. both teams suck balls and dont have the discipline to beat us. md will give us more trouble, though.

Are you kidding me? They are ACC opponents. We are NC State. There are no "easy games" (save for that away game at BC...that was an oddity UNLIKELY to happen for another 5-10 years).

we'll see.

We have a lot of problems, but none of them are ones that those two shitty teams can exploit

^ I don't know if you've seen G Tech before yesterday, but they lost to Illinois-Chicago at home, and they also lost to Air Force. G Tech is full of athletes but not a very good basketball team. Wake is much better than G tech. If they get hot, they can compete with anyone outside of the top 5. You shut down Justin Gray and you shut Wake down...

We had trouble with G tech, Wake is better than G tech IMO, therefore wake could easily creep on us if we lay 3-20 from downtown

as you should know, the transitive property doesnt work for basketball. if you look at who and how both teams actually play, you will see that we match up well. Wake's heroic commitment to not playing perimeter defense, even more-so this year, plays right into our hands.

That's why we have owned them these last few years.

Oh I agree you can't use the whole "if we beat the team that beat the best team" etc. theory. But Wake and Maryland can beat us, I don't necessarily think location matters. I think the game against UNC had everything to do with UNC and not the fact that it was a road game. What was our 3 point % yesterday, had to be high, and we needed every one of them.
