I need to know what's the difference between a 128MB and a 256MB?

Its the ammount of onboard RAM the video card has. Most of the time more is better. However the ammount of RAM a video card has should not be used as the primary statistics off of which you base your purchase. The chipset the card uses would be the first thing to look at, and then RAM would be next.

it's all about the pipelines, baby.oh yeah, and the interface. Make sure you dont buy a PCI-E card for your AGP board; or vice versa.

basically, if your computer is 2 years or older look for AGPif it's newer, you have to check

what's the best chipset for video cards?
1/18/2006 2:44:29 PM
^ It all depends on your budget. The most advanced is the 7800GTX. The most budget firendly is the 6600GT. All in my opinion of course.
