Okay, So i gave the complex a check for rent on the 2nd (as the first they were closed and i was out of town prior).

As of today they still apparently havent cashed it. Now, i went in person and put it into the rent box, indoors one, during hours.

If they somehow lost it or didnt get it, I would have gotten some kind of notice on my door etc about non payment of rent right?

*is just worried, actually wrote the damned thing, wants the bastards to cash it if they have it* reason i ask is they've never held checks quite this long before and I dont understand why they'd do it now.

Believe me, if they didn't have your money they'd let you know.

My last landlord would wait as long as two weeks to deposit the rent check.
