I heard that after buying iPod's apple sends these coupons out to people. Anyone have one your not going to use?

Student ID = student discount of ~$30 on a $300 purchase.

(Or are you just trying to save $$$ on a 60 gig iPod?)

Yea I'm going with the 30GB .. I guess its time I get my first iPod.

But apple gives out $30 off $300 coupons to people after buying ipods and sometimes a couple weeks after signing up for like 1-click ordering. People on other forums have posted that this works w/ the education discount. So...get an iPod+case for around $300 student price then use the coupon.

there's no point in doing that since your student ID in the store or online will get you a 10% discount ($30 on $300)

If you're willing to wait a few more months they'll probably make the coupon codes available online. I know last year they were offering that deal online around April or May just as long as you were going to make a $300 or more purchase. You didn't even have to buy anything beforehand.
