Elon >> Wake

Elon is the fourth best team in NC - put them in the ACC!

Wake lost more than just Downey and Paul - also Danielus* and Levy - neither were great but both could play, and Levy was a long, quick and smart forward - something they are lacking.

Gray has to be wondering if sticking around this year helped his chances of going to the NBA.
Since teams don't have to guard Paul, he is getting the better defender.

That being said, I am not expecting State to win January 21st.

I honestly think the ACC would look better with Elon in and Wake out....

Growing up in Western NC, I saw what Wake Forest fans are like. Needless to say, they leave much to be desired. There are more excited Forsyth Tech fans....

Wake produces about 1/10 of the alumni each year that State or UNC does. Considering Winston-Salem is a small market and the majority of their alumni aren't living there, they do alright filling up LJVM.

I knew they sucked and thought they might coming into the year, but how can you suck that bad when you have Justin Gray and Eric Williams.

Seriously, give me those two guys and three benchwarmer-types and you've got a team that can beat Clemson.

Justin Gray was so much better his freshman year (not to mention the last 2).
I can understand why he would look better with the attention Paul got from other teams, but he doesn't seem to be able to find or make open shots.

Eric Williams can be good, but gets doubled quite a bit - he looks to have gone from a potential second round pick to maybe a Europe league player.

Trent Strickland is much improved, but is unreliable and makes some bad decisions/fouls.

If something isn't changed quickly the basketball season might make the football season look very successful.

Yep, the PG lack is what's killing them.

You'd think Prosser would find a way to adjust his system to take that into account, but instead he's running it pretty much the same way he always has.

Guard play has always been very important in the ACC, but even with a sub-par PG, with those two players you would think they could beat fucking Clemson.

Hell, give me Mike O'Donnell and those two guys and you wouldn't lose to Clemson..

I have a couple UNCC friends that will be going with a group when they play Wake next month.

Charlotte's not the greatest this year but they look like they could beat Wake handily.
