Basic question, are all "major" classes C-walled?For example, if you are in business and get a D+ in Bus330, do you have to take it again?

Well, the class got put into the "major requirements" list and not in the "additional or non-degree" category....does that mean its ok?

No.Not all major specific classes are C-wall.[Edited on January 9, 2006 at 8:43 AM. Reason : .]

go https://packtracks.ncsu.edu/scripts/RegRec/ada_dgtt.plclick on your majorfind bus330if in the "max d allowed" column, there is a blank, it is not a c-wall class

If you have to worry about the "C wall" in your major, you should seriously consider switching to something else. No one likes to hire C students.

BUS 330 is not a C wall class. But do as UberCool suggests any time you have that question. the one exception we are just finding out about that I am not sure is showing on the degree audit is that only two Ds are allowed in PSY major courses. But, the degree audit or a graduation note should be there. Not sure if it is or not, but just got wind of this departmental ruling.

thanks wolfee!!I have another question for you, if you happen to know the answer and would like to share...When I first signed up for classes I used my degree audit to find classes offered that would fufill my natural sciences requirement. I ended up with Chem 100.But when I use the tool that ubercool supplied, Chem 100 is not covered under that requirement.Do you happen to know if Chem 100 fufills the natural science requirement, or do I have to do Chem 101?

Your degree code may be slightly different from the one ubercool referred to. Yours may be a bit older. Go to Pack Tracks and log in and go to Academic Info, and then Degree Audit. If yours is in natural sciences where you want it to be, you are fine. If it is not, you could have a prob. PM your name or student ID and I will check it if it is the latter. Gotta run. I am still in the office!!! The students and the university is getting their money's worth of me today.

If you are struggling to make C- in your major classes, perhaps you should find a new major.
