Timewarner's HD stuff with QAM is really odd. You probably have multiple channels with the same HD broadcast. I bet that TNTHD is on another channel somewhere, with the sound. You should also be able to get the UNCHD channels.A Timewarner guy though told me that the HD channels coming through like that was a bug, and they could plug it (or fix it) at any time.BTW, I seem to remember WB use to broadcast HD over the air, but recently (the past few months), i can't get anything from them. Anyone know if they killed their signal?[Edited on January 9, 2006 at 4:18 AM. Reason : ]

WLFL (WB22) and WRDC (UPN28) are owned by Sinclair Broadcasting Company, and both are broadcasting with extremely low power with special temporary permits, and they apparently have no plans to upgrade until absolutely necessary. WRDC isnt even broadcasting in HD yet, only digital. As far as what the TWC guy told you, he doesnt know what hes talking about. Just like standard over the air channels must be included in the most basic package, they cant force you to upgrade to a higher-priced package just to get your locals in HD. They will tell the uninformed that they must get digital cable to get HD, but you can request a CableCard that will allow you to pick up the local digital channels without the digital cable box.

^ it's always fun to reposition my antenna just right to get a decent no-reflection signal for WLFL.. i usually get around 70-75% with an indoor antenna up here in NW Raleigh (Creedmoor/Strickland area)

I'd really like UNCHD but I can't seem to get it. Numbers on my QAM tuner are odd, like 84-2, 84-3,84-4, 114-3, etc
