I need a public notary near campus...any recommendations? Looking for a cheap/local one.

i'm one. i'll do it for free.^^legally a notary can only charge a maximum 3$ per notarized signature and 3$ per oath given. for car titles, that's 2 signatures by both parties and 2 oaths by both parties for 12$... violations can result in suspended notary commission and invalidation of the document.

I was shocked when I found out that banks in DC (at least the BOA I went to) don't have notaries.Still haven't gotten that thing notarized and its been damn near a year. [Edited on January 9, 2006 at 10:12 AM. Reason : add]
