So USC deserves to be above Penn State....riiiiiiiiiiiiight...
1/5/2006 11:27:44 AM
why the hell wouldn't they?
1/5/2006 11:39:58 AM
Penn State won their BCS bowl, and actually has a defense. USC did/has neither.
1/5/2006 11:43:32 AM
HAHAHH WE GOT VOTESWOOT
1/5/2006 11:46:10 AM
FSU is #23 despite taking the #3 team to 3OT. I don't get that.
1/5/2006 11:48:35 AM
^Maybe the fact that they have five losses? And they only took them to 3 OT's b/c of a kicker.
1/5/2006 11:52:02 AM
^^well, they are 8-5[Edited on January 5, 2006 at 11:53 AM. Reason : f]

i do agree that PSU not being #2 is weird. not that i think they should be, i really dont know. but in the majority of previous years (this isnt concrete im just trying to remember) when the #2 team lost their bowl game and the #3 won the 3 ended up 2
1/5/2006 12:15:00 PM
USC was previously #1, not number #2. It also helps when you're the media's bitch as well.

Georgia at 10 is shitty. They barely lost to the #5 team and killed LSU who finished #6. They should definitely be ahead of Alabama.
1/5/2006 1:01:28 PM
im just saying i had no thought in my head that USC would be anything but #2 today.
1/5/2006 1:14:07 PM
Penn State didn't look that good against a 4 (& now 5) loss team. USC at least good against the best team in the country. How you can even consider putting PSU over USC is beyond me after watching both teams.
1/5/2006 1:34:17 PM
i hate the media attn usc was getting and even i think they def deserve #2is texas is #1, usc is right behind them.
1/5/2006 1:36:37 PM
Penn State was 1 second from being number 2 no matter what happened last night. But Michigan scored a TD in that 1 second and they didn't look impressive enough against FSU. Oh well, it doesn't really matter unless you finish either #1 or undefeated so that you at least have a leg to stand on as to why you should be.
1/5/2006 2:43:08 PM
truthfully, I think Penn State should be number 4, behind Ohio State
1/5/2006 2:44:44 PM
Because you need to respect 79 year old bowl coaches that winPSU should be #2
