Do they only do the first round, or is there a prediction for Manny there?
1/4/2006 9:34:13 AM
b/c clearly you could have just posted this in one of the other threads

What's the projections on Manny and TJ? Is the latter going to go?[Edited on January 4, 2006 at 9:44 AM. Reason : .]

1st DE / 2nd DLNot bad at all

I really think that the saints will take Vince Young, and then the Titans will take Matt LeinartI was daydreaming the other day about A.J. Hawk getting signed by the Panthers to play alongside Dan Morgan...how scary would our defense be thenand I dont understand why the Ravens and Steelers would take RBs in the first round. Baltimore has Jamal Lewis and Chester Taylor, while the Steelers have Willie Parker and DuceI dont really agree with this mock draft very much, doesnt make sense[Edited on January 4, 2006 at 10:15 AM. no, I was just thinking of having Dan Morgan and A.J. Hawk both playing at the same timeeither that or A.J. would have to bust his ass to beat out fan favorite Dan Morgan for the starting role - at least in his rookie season
1/4/2006 10:18:19 AM
^haha...I was about to say the same thing.

i know i don't like the idea of the raiders taking a OLBunless this guy is like fucking superman
1/4/2006 10:34:21 AM
^^I know all that, but Duce has been healthy for the last half of the season, it was just that Bettis and Parker were on fire and there was no where for him to fit in. Plus, isnt Duce bigger than LenDale White??I dunno, I still dont like that mock draft very much
1/4/2006 10:55:57 AM
I cannot fathom Detroit taking a chance on a first-round quarterback, or a first-round offensive player period. that would be stupid - half their starting offense are first-round picks. they need to devote their first rounder this year to defense

i would LOVE to see the steelers take white. willie can't carry the load by himself, and staley is old and injury prone. white would be the shit
1/4/2006 12:56:01 PM
I love how in his press conference, Mario never mentioned about finishing his college degree. I guess when you're making that much money, you don't really need a college degree.
1/4/2006 1:12:01 PM
^Uh, what? He actually did talk about it.Have you actually listened to the whole thing?[Edited on January 4, 2006 at 1:14 PM. Reason : ]

what kind of a name is D'Brickashaw
1/4/2006 1:23:28 PM
black

i cant agree with this hardly at allPackers need offensive weapons for Favre to salvage a season if he returnsThe Raiders need someone other than Collins to throw to moss, hes just too old and slow(possible free agent trades)the lions wont go after a QB, maybe a RB or DE but i cant see a QB being in their sightsMario will go to the Cardinals im pretty sure, I remember one of the home games i think it was the UNC game being around the field press area and seeing a ton of Cardinals scouts and those associated with the cardinals. And that would be great for me seeing as how the cardinals are my team. I would love for them to pick up manny as well in the 2nd round and have 2 great DE that can really work together and get a good chemistry on that team defensively. as for the rest of the picks there are some more that i dont really see happening but if i see a draft i like i will post it...but mario and manny at my cardinals would be a dream come true
1/4/2006 1:39:25 PM
lions def need a quarterback. harrington and garcia both suck
1/4/2006 1:44:23 PM
ok i don't think there's any way in hell leonard pope drops all the way to 31. that guy is a freak of nature. a 6'7" 265 TE who can beat db's down the field will be on just about everyone's wish list
1/4/2006 1:45:17 PM
matt millen is obviously gonna draft santonio holmesand besides, most of the those mock drafts state they are analyzing based on best player available not on team needs.the team needs mock drafts dont come out til a few weeks before the draft ususally
1/4/2006 1:46:23 PM
i really doubt that vince young is gonna go in the draft this year
1/4/2006 1:57:44 PM
Mario and Manny would be sick if they stayed together with the cardinalsplus the cardinals already have adrian wilson...they might become one of my new favorite teams
1/4/2006 2:00:38 PM
Posluszny is perfect for New Englandand I dont see Dumervil sliding that far.
1/4/2006 2:06:21 PM
oh, and I bet Young is staying another year
1/4/2006 2:07:32 PM
to continue talking to myself, if pope is available at 32 for the panthers' pick, i sure hope they nab him.
1/4/2006 2:08:42 PM
I bet they will grab Popeeither that or a really good O-lineman
1/4/2006 2:12:48 PM
Well...the latest is that Vince young will not declare himself for the draft!!..not sure the broncos really need too much on defense..so the tamba hali pick according to me doesnt work out..the jets aren't gonan pick a QB ..i heard the consensus is that since they have so much invested in pennington, they will go for a veteran back up QB instead..there are a lot of other holes to be filled there..similarly i think the lions are ok with harrington!! the pick i am interested in is posluzny..cause if the patriots get him and get another decent WR somewhere down..they are as good as ever!! again..and the panthers need someone to help steve smith..maybe a good TE..and need to spank colbert on the ass a bit..to get him going..[Edited on January 4, 2006 at 2:38 PM. 1/4/2006 2:37:46 PM
the panthers need a good offensive lineman, a TE and another WR optionbut if we could trade up to get Mario or AJ Hawk/Posluszny I'd be a happy SOB
1/4/2006 3:08:10 PM
kiper just said on his chat that mario would be a good pick at number 3. he also said he sees hudson going in the 2nd round.
1/4/2006 3:10:07 PM
1/4/2006 3:26:21 PM
poor bush' NFL career is gonna suck when he has to play for a 3rd world country..er team known as the texans
1/4/2006 3:55:29 PM
in four or five years the texans will be loaded with top picks though
1/4/2006 3:57:22 PM
like i said the cardinals would be sick with 2 DE that have played together and know each other so well, it would be great for the defense... Carolina needs another WR option but if they go for one it will be in the free agent route not draft. As for Posluzny, with his knee hurt last night not sure how his stock will look, NE could take him and they would be doing really well with that pick...their Defense needs some more options and depth. Carolina needs to go after some defensive guys i think, I still think the Texans get Bush then trade picks for him down the road, and get someone other than him, they have Davis and Carr they just need an Oline...but if tehy hold onto Bush...he could mean big things for them in the future, i say trade him though. Packers needs that Ohio State WR badddd along with a solid RB. I hope Philip gets traded to Miami in the offseason, they are doing some GREATTTT things down there and are gettin to be a good team again.
1/4/2006 4:10:25 PM
the texans need to get someone to sell them the farm for the first pick
1/4/2006 4:18:47 PM
Posluszny will stay for his senior year, id put money on it
1/4/2006 4:40:02 PM
especially if his knee has any serious problems[Edited on January 4, 2006 at 5:44 PM. Reason : oh, already mentioned ]
1/4/2006 5:43:40 PM
i'd like to see the Panthers get Vernon Davis
1/4/2006 5:45:37 PM
panthers shouldve taken heath miller last year. im not sure vernon davis is a good enough blocker for their scheme.
1/4/2006 5:50:36 PM
i dont think vernon will fall far enough, but i def like him...we havent had a pass catching TE since Walls
