Do they only do the first round, or is there a prediction for Manny there?

I really think that the saints will take Vince Young, and then the Titans will take Matt Leinart

I was daydreaming the other day about A.J. Hawk getting signed by the Panthers to play alongside Dan Morgan...how scary would our defense be then

and I dont understand why the Ravens and Steelers would take RBs in the first round. Baltimore has Jamal Lewis and Chester Taylor, while the Steelers have Willie Parker and Duce

I dont really agree with this mock draft very much, doesnt make sense

That would be a scary bench. I didn't know Hawk had injury problems, too

no, I was just thinking of having Dan Morgan and A.J. Hawk both playing at the same time

either that or A.J. would have to bust his ass to beat out fan favorite Dan Morgan for the starting role - at least in his rookie season

Jamal Lewis had a miserable year and is probably near the end of his playing days anyway.

Bettis is retiring, so the Steelers need a pretty big back to fill his place and Duce has been out a large majority of the year.

I can't decide whether I like the idea of the Packers taking Hawk with the 5th pick.

^^I know all that, but Duce has been healthy for the last half of the season, it was just that Bettis and Parker were on fire and there was no where for him to fit in. Plus, isnt Duce bigger than LenDale White??

I dunno, I still dont like that mock draft very much

I cannot fathom Detroit taking a chance on a first-round quarterback, or a first-round offensive player period. that would be stupid - half their starting offense are first-round picks. they need to devote their first rounder this year to defense

Not really.

White is 6'2 235
Staley is 5'11 242

Plus, if White is still on the board at this point, he'd be a hell of a pickup.

i would LOVE to see the steelers take white. willie can't carry the load by himself, and staley is old and injury prone. white would be the shit

I love how in his press conference, Mario never mentioned about finishing his college degree. I guess when you're making that much money, you don't really need a college degree.

i cant agree with this hardly at all

Packers need offensive weapons for Favre to salvage a season if he returns
The Raiders need someone other than Collins to throw to moss, hes just too old and slow(possible free agent trades)
the lions wont go after a QB, maybe a RB or DE but i cant see a QB being in their sights
Mario will go to the Cardinals im pretty sure, I remember one of the home games i think it was the UNC game being around the field press area and seeing a ton of Cardinals scouts and those associated with the cardinals. And that would be great for me seeing as how the cardinals are my team. I would love for them to pick up manny as well in the 2nd round and have 2 great DE that can really work together and get a good chemistry on that team defensively.
as for the rest of the picks there are some more that i dont really see happening but if i see a draft i like i will post it...but mario and manny at my cardinals would be a dream come true

ok i don't think there's any way in hell leonard pope drops all the way to 31. that guy is a freak of nature. a 6'7" 265 TE who can beat db's down the field will be on just about everyone's wish list

matt millen is obviously gonna draft santonio holmes

and besides, most of the those mock drafts state they are analyzing based on best player available not on team needs.

the team needs mock drafts dont come out til a few weeks before the draft ususally

Mario and Manny would be sick if they stayed together with the cardinals

plus the cardinals already have adrian wilson...they might become one of my new favorite teams

Well...the latest is that Vince young will not declare himself for the draft!!..

not sure the broncos really need too much on defense..so the tamba hali pick according to me doesnt work out..

the jets aren't gonan pick a QB ..i heard the consensus is that since they have so much invested in pennington, they will go for a veteran back up QB instead..there are a lot of other holes to be filled there..

similarly i think the lions are ok with harrington!!

the pick i am interested in is posluzny..cause if the patriots get him and get another decent WR somewhere down..they are as good as ever!! again..

and the panthers need someone to help steve smith..maybe a good TE..and need to spank colbert on the ass a bit..to get him going..

the panthers need a good offensive lineman, a TE and another WR option

but if we could trade up to get Mario or AJ Hawk/Posluszny I'd be a happy SOB

I agree on the offensive side!! Another throwin option is needed...a big target..

not sure with LB or DE...we are doing quite fine in that dept.

like i said the cardinals would be sick with 2 DE that have played together and know each other so well, it would be great for the defense... Carolina needs another WR option but if they go for one it will be in the free agent route not draft. As for Posluzny, with his knee hurt last night not sure how his stock will look, NE could take him and they would be doing really well with that pick...their Defense needs some more options and depth. Carolina needs to go after some defensive guys i think, I still think the Texans get Bush then trade picks for him down the road, and get someone other than him, they have Davis and Carr they just need an Oline...but if tehy hold onto Bush...he could mean big things for them in the future, i say trade him though. Packers needs that Ohio State WR badddd along with a solid RB. I hope Philip gets traded to Miami in the offseason, they are doing some GREATTTT things down there and are gettin to be a good team again.
