Can't comment on 233, but Dunstan's class is the shit. He's a nice guy and Its not a hard class, just don't miss any classes it or you'll miss a ton of material. Take good notes!!!. Tests are straight from the notes and are half fill in the blank / essay.

dunstan's class is in the morning and he has all the lights off except for one in the front. He talks the whole class period and you have to take really good notes in order to do well on the tests. The tests are easy as long as you know the notes well. i got a 65 on the first test and ended up with an A in the class

As far as HI 233 (Lavopa), he lectures straight from his head and does a pretty thorough job covering the material. Go to class, participate, and take good notes and you'll do fine. There are daily reading assignments and as always, it helps to do those as well. His tests were 10 mult choice questions and an essay. The final had 10 mult choice questions and 2 essays. I got an A- with two B's on tests and an A on the final. Very personable guy. I recommend him.

La Vopa's TEH WINZ, best prof I've had in the history department. He's good for history buffs and non-major students all around. He also likes to bullshit for a few minutes before class each day.Like, he'd walk in and say something along the lines of: "Today has been so screwed up, I just got my watch out of the drycleaner's and I have been lying to my wife about missing my watch for several days now, so when he handed it over the counter to me, she just looked at me and I had no idea what to say to her." I think this was at or around the time of the Chinese Revolution lecture...
