fsu has actually done well so far. they've only lost to uf and there wins have all been big.

I wouldn't count GT out yet. They played very good at Michigan State and Paul Hewitt is prolly the most underrated coach in the ACC.

i dont get how you can have half the conference ranked in the top 25 and yet they still suck. Does the entire conference have to be ranked to get your respect?

I tend to think Maryland and UNC are overrated this year...

but let's also try to keep things in perspective. I think we all have a tendency to expect perfection from upper-tier teams, but if you watch college basketball in general you'll realize EVERYONE is overrated by those standards.

I really don't think the ACC is nearly as bad off in comparison to the rest of the majors as most people expected coming into the year (although there have been some particularly embarrassing losses--like Clemson to Elon, for example).

I think I'd take FSU on those odds...

but it really could go either way. Clemson at least has beat SC and @Penn State; FSU's best wins are just Purdue and Nebraska. FSU's only loss came to Florida, another team that I think is overrated (they're on a level above FSU, but they definitely have not earned top-5 status).

Clemson just lost probably their best player, Mays to academic problems, and they're on a two game losing streak, if I were a betting man, I'd take FSU in that game.
