Ive come to that conclusion after being a big movie fan but now its seems like they all suck.with a very few exceptions.

Good movie are coming out all the time. I saw King Kong and it was probably the most original movie i have seen in a long time. And Hostel is coming out soon. You cant say that isnt going to be a good movie.

It's the fault of the movie studios. Instead of making good movies that will cater to certain niches, they try to make movies that make lots of money (by basically catering to the least common denominator) that turn out crappy. You could always go to indie films, but being excessively low budget can sometimes hamper them.

studios realize more money is coming through DVD sales now but yes I saw two movies in the theater last year- StarWars and Batman. nothing on the horizon looks worth it.God I miss the late 80s to mid 90s
