This is a great compact little laser printer, a HP's answer to the lower-end Samsung and Brother laser printers meant for use with a PC. Its perfect for sitting beside an inkjet, so you can use the laser for fast, cheap text printing and the inkjet for photos.Connects via USB, works with Windows 98-XP. Its about the size of a normal inkjet printer. 7k pages monthly duty cycle, 600x600dpi, 10ppm. 15 seconds first page out. Its in nice shape and includes a toner cartride, but no warranty on remaining toner life.$60

does it have any network capabilities?

Nope, just USB (its mean for home office use). Of course you can use a standard USB print server to give it the ability.

how many pages is the drum designed to do? Do you know how many it has already done (my laser printer has a diagnostic that'll tell you that stuff, which is why I'm asking... maybe this one does too)?

You're familiar with Brother laser printers I'm assuming . . . . HP printers have the drum built into the toner cartridge. Only one thing to worry about replacing.
