making it from scratch is pretty time consuming, but if you have any stores that sell indian food, they should have 'em frozen. A simple and good bean dip that I make pretty often:16oz velveeta w/jalapenos1 can chopped green chiles (real small can, maybe 2-4 oz)1 can refried beans (15oz or thereabouts)spray the inside of a crock pot with Pam. Cut the velveeta block into cubes and dump it all into the crock pot and cook on high for about 30-45 min, stirring it up occasionally. eat w/tortilla chips and lipitor.

hmmm i might could do crab cakes with remoulade.... never tried tho. but if i do that, then no crawfish and crab pies. maybe add whiskey balls as a dessertargh decisions, decisions. i think i'd like:2 (maybe 3) meat dishesa couple of more veggie based dishesa cheese dish (like the blintzes)then 2-3 dessert type dishesi'd like them all to be finger food type (less mess for me in the morning!)[Edited on December 28, 2005 at 4:41 PM.
