i thought it was a 350z...but looked closer and it wasnt, obviously.

I was wondering who's it was until i walked inside the shooting range and saw an AZN with his girl.

Yes, i guess it looked more like a g35, but I tend to think that upon first glance, they both look VERY similar.

last I read the coupe would have the VQ35 and the sedan the VQ25

that and the US version will possibly go without the TT and use a 4.5L v8 instead.

^^^the new GT-R is going to have a 3.7l TT V6 with at least 450hp.

^b/c the car can't be outfitted for LHD with the TT I6.

So basically the idiot that made this thread saw a rebadged G35?

tnezami, was it black with florida plates? if so, i saw the same one on the beltline a couple days ago. i had just glanced at it as it passed but the "350GT" emblem threw me off so i had to get a closer look. thats when i realized it said skyline on it. then i thought it was a ricer until i pulled in behind it and noticed nobody was in the driver's seat....errr...passenger seat.....errr.....the fucking thing was right hand drive.

Dude, the Skyline name is not gonna make it to the US.

They are gonna sell some souped-up infiniti based on the g35/350z chassis though.

you're correct in that the Skyline name won't be used. You are wrong with the rest of your post however. We'll be getting the same GT-R as the rest of the world. However it will be sold here under an Infiniti badge.

Second

You can order Skylines from over seas but it will have to be left hand drive and pass american standards.

first off, wouldn't an AWD TT Skyline be the GT-R model? And if it is the GT-R model, there's no fucking way you'd confuse it with a G35 or 350Z. that's my argument for my comment.

and aside from that, i thought there was no 2005 model GT-R?

there are tens of thousands of RHD drive cars on the roads in the united states, if you looked carefully you would probably see them a couple times a month, i know i do. and im not talking about mail trucks either.
