Okay, but why should 18 be in the Power 16? When we are 16, then we should be there.

I just filled the thing out so I could put UNC and Maryland last And we're not getting respect becuase we don't deserve it quite yet. We keep winning and actually win vs. good teams, we'll get respect. We beat GW and the birds will start chirping. Our best win yet is ND... not super-impressive[Edited on December 23, 2005 at 10:53 AM. Reason : ]

I am referring to quality of play in our games.Bama and Miami gave us both better games than ND[Edited on December 23, 2005 at 11:12 AM. Reason : *]

stop thinking we deserve respect
12/23/2005 11:22:01 AM
^^ that doesn't mean anything.VT gave duke their toughest and best game of the season, should that make VT a more quality win than beating Texas?
12/23/2005 11:25:41 AM
no because the VT game was at duke and they sucked it up that gameBoth the Miami AND Bama games are better wins because of the quality of play we faced. We had to deal with fast guard play, good shooters, and tough post players. We had to fight off numerous runs from both of those teams and we had to play one in a hostile environment.ND laid an egg against us on a neutral court and we were never really in danger of losing that game.

i think you and i have different interpretations of quality.beating a team that lays an egg against us and not being in danger of losing the game vs beating a team that played very well against us in a hostile environment where all aspects of our game were tested.I think the latter is a much better win in terms of quality.it doesnt matter how good the team we beat back then is NOW, it matters how good they were when we played them.
