i don't mean to be cheap, but there is nothing at Crossroads that's worth a damn. Blue Ridge has "the weather man" "thumbsucker" and "the wedding crashers." that's my statement. my question is whether or not king kong is worth it. i know what to expect. it's peter jackson and a LOTResque three hour flick.anyone see the weather man or thumbsucker? if so, better or worse than the ape? and i realize it's difficult to compare these movies.thanks.[Edited on December 22, 2005 at 7:20 PM. ^^I thought both weather man and thumbsucker looked really good but never got to see them, I think they each had their own threads though, try checking there

Thumbsucker is very good.Other Blue Ridge gems at the moment are Jarhead, The 40 Year Old Virgin, and A History of Violence.Refer to the King Kong thread for King Kong discussion, which there is a shitload of.And their rennovations were superficial. It's the same basic shitty theater.

Most of the stuff at Blue Ridge now is good. I liked Thumbsucker a lot; better than Wedding Crashers, The Weather Man, and King Kong.
