I've read a lot of good reviews. Apparently Spielberg managed to turn this into a powerful, but fairly unbiased film, which I wouldnt have expected after Schindler's List.Definitely going to see it when it hits theaters. Thoughts?

I saw it as a pre-release to the Jewish public in Raleigh this past Wednesday and it started out great. I think the ending was a little weak and it could have been about 30 minutes less in length. Overall, pretty good and according to what I've read, is historically accurate. I would recommend it.[Edited on December 24, 2005 at 1:23 PM. Reason : a]

Can't wait to see this. Wish more of these sort of subjects were made into movies instead of the usual focus on major conflicts and such.

Saw it last night. Liked it...but more because I'm interested in history and politics than because I agree with what it was saying. I mean, I don't disagree with every premise of the movie by any means, but the effort it makes to humanize murderous terrorists didn't get anywhere with me. I don't think I would've had a bit of trouble wasting those dudes. In fact, it looked like a pretty good time, to me.I don't really totally agree with what the movie says about our foreign policy (or that of Israel's, for that matter). Yeah, we definitely don't do everything right (and Israel SURE as hell doesn't). Yeah, I think that Israel should meet the Palestinians somewhere in the middle--but ONLY when the Palestinians refrain from terror tactics. Again, though, I liked the movie. The ending was kind of ambiguous, but I don't see what was boring about it. If you found it boring, it wasn't the fault of the movie. It's just that you aren't the person that sort of movie appeals to.

I just saw it tonight. I thought it was really good but a little too long. I was glad to see Julius Ceasar in there.

thought it was great. I agree it could have been 15 minutes or so less in length, but i was antsy at the end cause i had to pee really bad
2/5/2006 1:40:17 PM
is it just me or is this film NEVER ever on any kind of syndication or HBO/Cinemax? Is it the subject matter?
4/25/2013 3:33:04 PM
I've never paid attention to that. No idea.
4/25/2013 3:39:23 PM
