The point of this whole post, which I should have explained, was not about the money. I am self sufficient, and am financially stable. It was just the principle that it was a fucked up thing for a parent to do 2 days after a birthday and right before Christmas. That was my fault for not explaining that.

I'm not a total slack ass. I've had a job since I' moved to Greenville working for ECU and bartending, I quit bartending in July, so I've only been without a job since July. And the whole deal was that I was to graduate in May, now it will be December, but it got blown all out of proportion. AND this is after taking a semester off because of health. So it's not like I"m worthless or just sit back and blow money.
