not everything is booked...not even close..
UNC-Charlotte is right off I-85 and is a straight 7 mile shot to the stadium....
I called 4 hotels yesterday in that area and all of them had vacancies.
One was Hampton Inn...they wanted $75 for 1 night stay, room with 2 double beds
Right across the street is the Sleep Inn, they wanted $69 for 1 night stay, 2 double beds
There is a Ramada Inn down the street that had vacancies but I didn't ask how much.
And Comfort Suites as well, wanted $80 for a room with 2 double beds...

I booked at the Hampton.
It is a nice area, on the outskirts of downtown charlotte.

It looks like the Wyndom Garden Hotel is available for 54 the night before & 82 the night after.

I booked 7 rooms at the Howard Johnson about 5 miles away from the game. Right now I have one room left and I might have a second. IT is going to be about 55 for the night plus a bit of tax. PM me if you need a room.
